Instagram is extremely popular: More than one billion people worldwide use the network. For publishers and companies Instagram Stories are a good opportunity to reach their target groups and interact with them.
Stories appear at the top of the app and are much more visible than posts in the feed, which helps to increase their organic reach. Hashtags and geo-markers in Stories can also be used to reach users who are not yet followers. Questions, polls and quizzes encourage interaction with the user.
Since Stories are automatically deleted after 24 hours, subscribers can be tempted to keep checking in - so they don't miss anything and stay loyal to your brand.
But what makes a thrilling Instagram Story? What are the keys to great storytelling?
In this workshop, multimedia journalist Bernard Lill provides answers to these questions and recommends apps that help produce stories which will stand out.
